I Believe
that techniques utilizing mind, body, and spiritual functioning enhance psychological healing and well-being. In my work with clients, I integrate many modalities with traditional psychotherapy, using positive psychology techniques, meditation, visualization, guided imagery, sandplay therapy, stress management techniques, nature-based experiences, and the arts – music, poetry, and photography.
Clinical Background
I have worked with children and adults throughout the life span. I have been affiliated with:
- Gesell Institute for Child Development
- Riverview Hospital for Children and Youth
- Newington Children’s Hospital
- Westport CT Public Schools
- Sacred Heart University
- Fairfield University School Psychology Graduate Program
- Private psychology practice: Wilton, CT and Newtown, CT
- I have served as a consultant and workshop leader for preschools and school systems regarding childhood difficulties and parenting.
Although I have always worked with adults, my previous focus was on preschool, elementary, and middle school-aged children with anxiety, behavioral difficulties, and autistic spectrum challenges. Although I am no longer accepting children as clients, I will continue my work in school and parent consultation regarding challenges with children.
