Untitled (Neon #1) is an exploration of the painterly aspects of digital video, and the juxtapositions of meaning that coincide with juxtapositions of language and sound. I was obsessed with the pendulum-like swinging of the video camera along ceiling and floor tiles, the ritualistic swaying that allows for all of the accidental meetings of language and sound to find their home. This piece is dedicated to Mills College.
