Wood Spell is a site-specific audio work made for the Sonic Fragments festival, which I co-directed with Seth Cluett.
I made this piece for a wooded area with a couple of usually empty benches. It’s a deconstruction of my chamber piece, Spell, and I wanted it to be quiet, verging on silence, so that you could only really hear it if you listened very intently, as if seeping out of the leaves.
